Welcome John D, Ash and all who have joined in recent days - far too hot to consider going to a gig today, but we will, Pure Reason Revolution tonight... Good to see a Birmingham gig list..

Hello, I thought I'd already done this but clearly not.

My name's M and I'm in a band

http://www.myspace.com/tentigers
http://www.tentigers.co.uk

I often blag my way into gigs by driving around the lady who writes a zine

http://www.noisyzine.co.uk

and I am trying to start up a fringe festival in my hometown of Southend.

I am here because I enjoy music and righteous fury.

My name is Sarah.

I'm in a band called Awesome Wells

I joined because I went to leave a comment on the no 2 pay 2 play myspace and found the idiots had removed it.

hello Sarah, yeah, My Space removed the page, James Stagepass or someone like him or maybe those surface Unsigned scumbags cried and got their mummies on to Tom and... but The Guardian called last week about it and then the Times did and others are picking up on it and hopefully a few more bands found out what the score is and thought about it a little and if everyone shouted and everyone said no to pay 2 play and took their bat and ball home....

Anyway, welcome, like the sound of your band, just had a listen, I shall go back and listen properly now, sounds like i should be playing something on the radio..

Cheers! I was gonna pop a CD in the post to you this week as I've just got some made up. I shall do...

Let's hope we can get rid of these nasty scumbags. I've been talking to some mates this morning and we're working on a plan to get him out the Magnet. Eee...

GRIFTER – Old school blues based (stonerish) heavy rock for Clutch fans, Grifter deliver it with a no messing righteous attitude, they have the vibe right, they’re from Plymouth, you find them via www.myspace.com/grifterrock
