When is ze Organ 23? The birthday date changed on My Space? Are you having a party, 23rd is the most important

the correct date, I bothered to look it up the other day, is December 4th, we had it wrong before, I had it in my head that it was November. The first issue of Organ, an A5 hand-made, hand-painted (very messy) fanzine, was launched at a Hawkwind gig in Guildford on December 4th 1986. We photocopied 100 copies, hand screen printed and spray painted 100 covers.. 36 pages, interviews with Cardiacs, Twelfth Night, Magic Mushroom Band and more... Took 50 copies tO that first gig and sold them all within about an hour before the gig , too kthe rest to another Hawkwind gig three days later and sold the rest, photocopies another 200 and set about a second issue (we only intended it to be a one off).

So the tenth birthday party two day gig at the Astoria that Cardiacs and Porcupine Tree headlined were probably on the wrong date, as was that all night eleven hour 20th biRthday party radio broadcast at Resonance FM. Should have looked up the date of that Hawkwind concert on the Internet ages ago. Hadn't really thought of a birthday party even if it is the magical 23rd...
