Sunday evening, time for Employee Of The Month to say hello.

So, this is the first time I've ever posted anything in a forum. I often look at them, but the layouts always seem to confuse me. I blame that on my own little mind and not the format in which such forums have been created!

I'm starting a new little night at The Windmill in Brixton on the 25th Feb. These are the people who'll be gracing my stage:

ROSE ELINOR DOUGALL - she used to be a Pipette and now she's not. She has a band though, and a wonderful one at that. Think Stereolab / Cocteau Twins. That kinda thing.

THE BOBBY McGEE'S - I think you'll know who they are!

CLOWNS - Tom White of Brakes / ESP, Matt Twaites of ESP and comrades don lots of make-up and endulge in the dark side of clowning.

LION O'BRIEN - A delightful little band we discovered at The Windmill a couple of weeks ago.

Yep, so this is my lineup for the first night and you can get tickets from http://www.wegottickets.com/event/43722

It's £4 which means I can pay my bands, and I think the line-up's worthy of the charge. I do a little bit of door-work at the venue and it kills me when punters turn up and moan about having to pay a few pounds to watch 3 or 4 bands! Why can't they understand how it all works?

Anyway...I'm going to leave it at that for now. I've been warned about message board etiquette of which I currently have none. I'm sure I'll become aware of what's acceptable in good time. Hope I've not gone on too much!

I'm looking forward to this...

How many bands is Tom White in right now? I've lost count...

Sounds like a great night, saw Rose with her band a few days ago and they're sounding very good, I'd come except I don't live anywhere near London... good luck with it.

So many bands!

Tom's in Brakes, ESP, Restlesslist, Clowns...hehe...let me know if you can think of any others! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it'll be a good night. I have him coming back to play in another band in April but I'm not allowed to say which one! :)

So...if you're not in London, then where are you?
